The historic mission of FBCU has been and continues to be the advancement of the Kingdom of God according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The continuing mission of this Church is to worship and serve the Lord; to lead people to an acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; to foster the development of Christian character - mind, soul and spirit;  to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in our community, nation and world; and to provide opportunity for Christian fellowship and mutual support.

In furtherance of this mission statement, we accept the Holy Bible as our authority in matters of faith and practice. We hold forth no statement or creed apart from the New Testament.
